Italian Valentine

Valentine's day has just passed. It was about a week and five days ago. I personally didn't celebrate it, and so did my Italian family. But one day before Valentine's day; which as we believed as a day of love, I randomly thought that It'd be great to do something strangely new. I decided to walk around my city to find something red that symbolized love. But still, I didn't believe even it's the strongest reason why Valentine's day believed as a day of love. For me, it lasts forever. If it's a true love, it lasts forever. It never marked even on a particular day like on every February 14th. Then while I was walking around Poggiomarino, I went to a stationery shop to buy some postcards and Valentine's cards. I planned to write and send them to my closes; my family, my close friends, and my deskmate. I started to write them after studying that evening. I was just like playing hide and seek with Anna; my host-sister. I didn't want she knew what I was writing about. Then I wrote 'Buon San Valentino, e ti voglio tanto bene!' to each person who I loved. For my dad, I gave it when he came into my bedroom a day after I wrote it. He hugged me tightly and thanked me that I'm doing sweetly to everybody. Unyuuuuuu.
And I gave two others to my mom and my grandmother in the kitchen while I was drinking a glass of milk in the  morning before going to school. And still...they hugged my as same tight as my dad did. They were all so sweeeeet. They did the same since I met them. And for my beloved sister, I gave her secretly. She was still sleeping when I slipped the card on her Economic book's pages. She didn't know anything about that card. Then I left, and actually I also wrote two other cards for my best female friends; Simona, Veronica, Nunzia and Carolina, and for my best deskmate, Corrado :)

They were all happy to receive them. At around 10 in the morning when I was having lesson in the school, Anna sent me a message like this, 'Grazie mille sorellina mia, anche a te Buon san valentino!'
She felt surprised and so did I. I loved the sweet her, a lot!

After coming back home, Papà gave us (the ladies) bunches of red roses and packs of chocolates. He thanked us for being his ladies -_-

But overall, I love my Italian Valentine.
